My husband said, yes they definitely have something going on here they need to address quickly. When we drove around the back of the building to exit, we were shocked to see the huge piles of boxes, tables, and junk stacked up along the back of the place. It did not appear to be a lack of staffing, as wait staff appeared to bemanaging tables smoothly. We were sad to think our favorite restaurant in Crescent City has declined to such a low level. Sowers Harvest Café has been one of my favorite restaurants in State College since the first time I ate there when my brother started college at Penn State four years ago. Dinner salad had very strong, smelly onions. The chicken corn soup was delicious - and our various sandwiches were all good, too The service was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: 1020 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5. "Fresh sautéed scallops" were served in a pool of butter. Service was decent, but things seemed a bit. Inside was half empty, and no usual wait to be seated. First clue was how empty the parking lot was. We've eaten here while in town for the 4th of July for years.
